As we all know, AI chatbots are becoming a very important part of our lives. After the huge success of chatGPT, other companies are also trying to contribute to AI tools.
AI chatbots are advancing to play a significant role in our daily lives. With ChatGPT’s enormous success, more businesses are attempting to catch the AI wave. A recent statement clarifies how Meta will include its own LLM (large language model). This technology drives AI chatbots into its products, albeit the business has previously been working on it.
Zuckerburg’s Remarks:
Mark Zuckerburg, the CEO of Meta, writes on Facebook that the company is forming a “new top-level product department” that would be “focused on generative AI.” The business combines various teams working on generative AI into one bigger team.
Starting with “creative and expressive tools,” this new team will eventually concentrate on creating AI identities that may benefit humans in several ways. The personalities will be included in Instagram and Meta’s messaging applications, WhatsApp and Messenger.
The AI character may be accessible as a chatbot on WhatsApp and Messenger. Snapchat is already working on a similar project; MyAI, a playful chatbot, will be available at the top of all discussions. AI will also be included in inventive Instagram filters and ad types on Instagram.
Before the firm can create “truly futuristic experiences,” Zuckerberg acknowledges that much underlying work must be done. In other words, the initial AI-based features will be simpler. Later, you will have proper AI chatbots to whom you can communicate and ask questions.
Yet, chatbots on Messenger are not totally new. The messaging platform added chatbot functionality back in 2016, and a number of businesses connected their bots to it to provide their consumers with a more intelligent experience. The first will be a built-in bot that resembles ChatGPT, though.
Moreover, Meta has made significant investments in the Metaverse, a 3D-enabled virtual environment that combines augmented reality, virtual reality, and other cutting-edge technologies to provide an interactive, immersive world. In other ways, AI is also a part of it.
