Elon Musk reclaims the position of World’s Richest Man after 92% rally in Tesla

According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, billionaire Elon Musk has resumed his position as the richest person in the world, with a net worth of $ 187 billion. Musk overtook Bernard Arnault of France to reclaim the title of the wealthiest man in the world.

Due to a rise in the stakes of Tesla’s stock, Elon Musk was able to do this. Tesla shares have risen by 92% year to date.

According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, the estimation of Elon Musk’s net worth is $187 billion, above Bernard Arnault’s $185 billion wealth.

The Chief Executive Officer of Tesla, however, had one of the greatest losses in wealth in recent memory between November and December of last year, when his net worth dropped by almost $200 billion.

Tesla’s stock rose 5.46% to settle at $207.63 on Monday. In contrast, it has increased by almost 20% during the past month. Tesla’s stock surges up than the Nasdaq 100 index, which is quite high towards technology and is up roughly 11% in 2023.

Tesla’s CEO, Elon Musk, is well-known for his numerous business initiatives and technical innovations. Along with running the rocket manufacturer SpaceX and owning a share in Twitter, Musk also serves as its CEO. Musk made a $44 billion purchase bid for Twitter Inc. in April 2022. The acquisition will be completed in October 2022. Elon Musk eliminated more than 3,700 people, or half of the workforce, after becoming CEO of Twitter. Yesterday, Twitter announced its ninth wave of layoffs, and the Mr Musk-led administration dismissed more than 50 individuals.

Musk announced last week that he has unblocked everyone on the microblogging service and referred to “bad input as a positive thing.”

The billionaire made it clear that, with the exception of fraudsters, everyone he has ever banned on Twitter had now been unblocked. He also advised others to do the same same.
